Berry's recycling initiative, Think Yellow, Go Green, was launched to encourage directory recycling, and so far has collected more than 500 tons of directories for recycling. We work with local schools, residents, businesses, and community organizations to collect and recycle outdated directories.
In 2011, Berry won the prestigious national Communitas Award for "Green Initiatives" for our Think Yellow, Go Green program.
We understand that all directories have to be published, distributed and recycled in an environmentally appropriate way. We seek to minimize our environmental impact while continuing to meet the needs of the businesses and communities we serve.

At Berry, we're committed to playing a positive role in the communities we serve. We are more than just business partners—we work hand-in-hand with local residents to foster community involvement and help maintain a healthy environment.
Community Service
Berry values the communities where we work and live, and looks for opportunities to help serve and support those communities.
On one day each year, Berry employees have the opportunity to step away from work (with pay) and volunteer to support at local charities via Berry's Extreme Community Makeover. Hundreds of Berry volunteers swarm the community that day to provide more than 750 hours of work.
Berry is also involved with the United Way's annual giving campaign, and each year hundreds of Berry employees donate their hard-earned money to support the United Way.
Berry also conducts drives for school supplies, coats, food and toys in our local offices to support local charities. Giving back to our communities is as important to us as supporting our local business partners.
